Bakerie Bread Making Classes
Situated in the Northern Quarter Bakerie is a Bread and Wine bar which has been open since late 2011, its menu is simple but wholesome with most of its food based around freshly made and baked bread.
Next door within the Hive building is Pie and Ale bar which specializes in freshly made pies and a constantly changing selection of real ales and ciders.
Classes are now being held in the basement of Bakerie.

Basic Bread Making__Mar2018__Space available
This course is designed for anybody who has never tried baking or even people who have basic knowledge,
To start you will be introduced to the basic ingredients with some facts & figures regarding producing breads.
1/You will be shown how to produce a basic white bread free-form loaf using just flour, water ,yeast and salt.
You will learn to prove, shape and bake. Slashing and flouring also shown.
2/You will learn how to make and dress a Foccacia using supplied ingredients.
3/You will produce a Pantonne sweet loaf to learn how the introduction of milk,eggs and butter effect your bread.
Tea and Coffee and soft drinks supplied at the start and during the half time break,
A fully licensed bar is available to purchase drinks before and during the course.
